QUICK EASY HAND WRAP
Ok so every day at the gym we have people asking us how to wrap hands, so we decided to make a quick easy video on how to wrap your hands. Yes there are plenty of other ways on how to wrap your hands and we will be showing you guys how to wrap different ways. So lets break it down real quick
1. START WITH A 180 INCH WRAP THIS WILL INSURE YOU GET ENOUGH PADDING ON YOUR WRIST AND HAVE ENOUGH WRAP LEFT TO SUPPORT YOUR WRIST
2. MAKE SURE YOU PRE ROLL YOUR WRAP BACKWARDS MEANING ROLL THE WRAP UP SO THE THUMB LOOP IS ON THE OUTSIDE . THIS WILL INSURE A FASTER WRAP NOT HAVING TO FIGHT YOUR WRAP WHILE ROLLING IT ON YOUR HAND.
3. START WITH MAKING A PADDING FOR YOUR KNUCKLES WIDE ENOUGH TO HOLD BETWEEN YOUR THUMB AND INDEX FINGER
4. ONCE THE PADDING IS COMPLETE MAKE SURE TO LOCK IT IN ON YOUR KNUCKLES BY WRAPPING AWAY FROM YOUR THUMB AND NOT TWORDS IT, WRAP AROUND YOUR KNUCKLES ONCE AND MOVE DOWN TO YOUR WRIST AND LOCK IT IN ONCE. KEY NOTE HERE IS TO MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE OPEN AND WIDE AS YOU CAN OR ELSE YOU WILL OVER TIGHTEN YOUR HAND CAUSING DISCOMFORT WHILE TRAINING.
5. AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD HAVE THE BASIC OUTLINE ON HOW YOUR HAND SHOULD BE PROTECTED, WRIST AND KNUCKLES. NOW ITS TIME TO LOCK IN THE WRAP. START GOING BETWEEN EACH FINGER STARTING FROM THE PINKY AND RING FINGER OUT THROUGH THE INDEX AND THUMB . THIS WILL ENSURE THE PADDING DOES NOT LIFT UP AS YOUR PUTTING ON YOUR GLOVES EXPOSING YOUR KNUCKLES. DO THIS 3 TIMES UNTIL YOU'VE GONE THROUGH EACH KNUCKLE
6. LAST IS THE THUMB , THE THUMB IS BY CHOICE A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT ACTUALLY LIKE HAVING THEIR THUMB WRAPED . WE WILL START BY GOING OVER OUR THUMB THEN UNDER IT MAKING SURE TO MAKE A FIST AS WE ARE COMING BACK AROUND , DONT MAKE THIS SUPER TIGHT OR IT WILL BUG YOU DURING TRAINING
7. AND WE ARE DONE MAKE SURE TO FINISH OFF AT THE WRIST TO CREATE SOLID SUPPORT.
